Verify My Stack (operated by Verify My Stack LLC, a California limited liability company) is a membership community and independent product-testing publisher. Membership includes access to our private community, published test results and Certificates of Analysis, the results database, the right to nominate products and vote in test-selection cycles, and member communications. Member dues collectively fund independent laboratory testing conducted under our published Methodology Charter, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Your membership is a subscription to the community and its published content. It is not a purchase of specific testing services. We decide what is tested and when through the member voting process and editorial judgment described in the Charter. We make no guarantee that any particular product, brand, or category will be tested, or on any particular timeline.
Memberships are purchased, billed, and canceled through Skool, our community platform, under its checkout terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Founding-member pricing remains in effect only while the membership stays continuously active; if it lapses, rejoining is at then-current pricing. We may change standard pricing prospectively with at least 30 days’ notice; price changes never apply mid-term to an active billing period.
The Service provides information about products, not advice about your health. Nothing on the Service — including test results, community discussion, or founder commentary — is medical advice or a recommendation to take, stop taking, or purchase any substance. Dietary supplements are not evaluated by the FDA for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of any disease. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before making decisions about supplements.
Test results describe only the specific batch or lot tested, purchased on the date and from the channel identified on the result page. Results are point-in-time laboratory measurements and do not describe other lots, later production, or a brand’s products generally. Laboratory analysis has inherent measurement uncertainty. We publish results in good faith under the Methodology Charter but do not warrant that any result is free of laboratory or clerical error; our correction process is described in the Charter.
Members agree not to: provide medical advice or dosing guidance to other members; promote, sell, or solicit for any product or service without our written permission; discuss or facilitate the sourcing of prescription drugs or controlled substances; post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringing; share member-only content outside the membership; or misrepresent test results, including quoting them without batch-specific context. We may remove content and suspend or terminate memberships for violations. Terminations for cause are not refunded.
You retain ownership of content you post. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute it in connection with operating and promoting the Service. Product nominations, votes, and batch-number submissions may be used, aggregated, and published in anonymized form.
Published test results, result pages, Certificates of Analysis as published by us, the results database, and all site content are owned by us or our licensors. Members receive a personal, non-transferable license to access this content for personal, non-commercial use during their membership. Republication, scraping, or commercial use — including by supplement brands, retailers, or practitioners — requires a separate written license.
Testing is performed by independent laboratories that are not our agents; we select them under the Methodology Charter’s standards but are not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond our published correction and confirmation procedures. The community runs on Skool and payments are processed by Skool’s payment providers; their terms govern those services.
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, AND OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your content, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of published results, including republication of results without batch-specific context.
These Terms are governed by California law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS in San Luis Obispo County, California, except that either party may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. You may opt out of this arbitration provision within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by written notice to [email protected].
You may cancel at any time (Section 3). We may suspend or terminate the Service or any membership for violation of these Terms, for legal risk, or upon discontinuation of the Service; on discontinuation, we will refund the prorated unused portion of prepaid annual memberships.
We may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes will be announced to members at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
